Indian summer hay clearing joint work in the nature reserve Vecdaugava 23.09.2023. The event starts at 11.00, the approximate duration is 3 hours.

Joint work main task – harvesting the cut grass and hay from the meadow, before further management is taken over by the horses.

Gloves and tools will be provided, you must take care of suitable clothing yourself. For dry feet, rubber boots or an extra pair of shoes to put on will be useful. 

After a hard day's work – a hearty meal in the open air. There will also be an opportunity to participate in educational activities, learning more about the diversity and management of meadows.
